After graduating, Johnathan was hired by Central High School for the percussion instructor position. He went on to write the percussion book for two seasons and won the top drumline award 5 times. He then made the jump into the Drum Corp. He was the number 3 selection out of 116 candidates as outside anchor snare for SouthWind. In addition to playing for Wynn, Johnathan played for Nashville songwriter Billy Yates (Choices, Rockin Chair) and duo Joey + Rory. Johnathan is also an accomplished studio musician with hundreds of hours under his belt. Johnathan resides in Columbia, TN.

Bass Guitar/Vocals

Mel's background was Southern Gospel music. At the age of 14, her dad came to her, said he needed a bass player for his gospel quartet and asked would she be interested. Dad got her a bass and amp, showed her where C was and off she went. For the next several months she could be found daily after school sitting in front of the stereo learning the groups songs. Within 3 months she was onstage performing and she's been playing ever since. Bluegrass, gospel, southern rock and country. Born and raised in southern Kentucky... and a 'blood runs blue Kentucky Wildcat fan', she resides in Columbia TN. On April 5, 2013 she lost her husband, father of her children and best friend when Tommy passed away suddenly.
